Description
Class Experience
In this class, students will learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions. The class will begin with a lesson. As a class, we will guided practice. Students will then be given independent work. While they are working on their own, I will be available for additional help. The class will be paced to meet the needs of the learners in the classroom. Throughout the class, I will be asking students questions to gauge student's understanding of the material. I like to use the chatbox...
- Students will learn how to add fractions with the same and different denominators. - Students will learn how to subtract fractions with the same and different denominators. - Students will learn how to multiply fractions. - Students will learn how to divide fractions.
I am a certified elementary school and special education teacher in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Optional homework will be given out to students after each class. This homework usually takes around 20 minutes. Answer sheets are provided so that students can check their work. Students are also free to message me at any time.
Students should have paper and pencil or whiteboard and marker for independent work.

Throughout the class, informal assessments will be given. Most of the time this is done through the chatbox.
