Learners often have difficulty grasping the principles of fractions – determining and comparing their value, understanding the concept of a common denominator (and how to go about finding it) to determine values, equivalency, add and subtract. Students will understand the principles of fractions, be able to develop strategies for solving fraction problems, and successfully solve them.
Learners will need a notebook dedicated to this class, pencils, and erasers. Also an additional device, smart phone, tablet, i-pad for kahoot games.
