Description
Class Experience
During this class, students will be learning about fractions. This is a beginner course. It is designed to be an introduction that will involve comprehension checks about factions, once taught. They will learn how to identify fractions that are written in numerical form and ones that are illustrated with shapes, such as circles, squares and rectangles. They will be able to create their own fractions, after obtaining comprehension of the given vocabulary words: whole, equal, part,...
I have been an elementary school teacher for seven years. I have great experience with teaching fractions and tutoring students with learning about fractions and with math, in general. I have taught/tutored students in grades Pre-K through fourth grade. I am able to present the given material in a way that is easy for students to comprehend, on their level.
2 files available upon enrollment- Dry erase board and marker (Alternative: Pencil and paper) - Provided Worksheets - Great attitude and positive energy :)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
