In this class, fraction which is a representation of equal parts of a whole number will be taught. The students will have grasp of what happens when they add and subtract fractions. The second class will be on multiplication and division.

In this first meeting, we will be learning about the addition and subtraction of fractions. I will be explaining what a fraction is with physical examples and then transfer the knowledge on the paper. We will use various examples and we will be playing Kahoot it at the end of the class for more explanation of the topic. I will be checking for students understanding as l teach. I will love to introduce you to the second class to this topic which will be addressing multiplication and division of fraction.
