Welcome to "Fraction Multiplication and Division Made Easy," a fun and interactive 4-week online course designed especially for kids aged 8-12! In this course, you'll embark on an exciting journey to understand and master the essential skill of multiplying and dividing fractions through engaging video lessons and interactive activities. This course is perfect for young learners who want to build a strong foundation in fractions and multiplication/division. With our engaging and easy-to-understand video lessons, you'll be multiplying fractions like a pro in no time! Sign up today and get ready for a fun-filled adventure in mastering fractions! I will provide weekly video lessons and assignments. Students are encouraged to communicate with me via classroom posts. I will respond within 48 hours (most often sooner). Students should be able to complete the weekly assignments and videos in an hour however, since this is self paced feel free to take as much or a little time as you need.

The learning goals for this class are to provide students with a strong foundation in understanding and working with fractions, specifically focusing on multiplying fractions. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently multiply fractions by whole numbers and other fractions, simplify fractions, and apply these skills to real-life scenarios. Additionally, students will learn to convert between mixed numbers and improper fractions and multiply mixed numbers, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of fraction multiplication.
