Description

Class Experience

Students will learn the foundations of fractions to prepare them for the skills that are later built on these ideas.
Students will be provided with a summary sheet and a practice sheet to help instill their new learning.
Due to the amount of learner participation, it is highly recommended for students to have: - a white board with dry-erase markers (if they don't have access to these materials, paper and markers will also work!)
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
In the event that there is time left over at the end of the class, we may play a friendly game of Kahoot (where each player enters the game as an anonymous player) so that the students can review their new learning in a non-threatening format.
For those students who prefer not to play, or who are unable to access Kahoot, they can participate in the review through the main page with the teacher, where they can see the questions and the option of answers provided for them to choose from.
