Students will find common denominators, equivalent fractions, subtract, and simplify fractions while solving written, matching, drag and drop, real-world, and multiple choice problems, and also play a review game after each lesson.

Class Experience
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will use the Nearpod website during this class. They will receive a link when class starts to join the Nearpod lesson. Students do not need an account for Nearpod. They will use their first name only after clicking the link but their name will not be displayed when we discuss and view student work on screen. This website is appropriate for all learning ages and is just used as a method to deliver the lesson and see real time student work samples.
