In this class, learners will explore foundational fraction concepts in a fun, interactive, and supportive environment. We'll focus on understanding fractions as parts of whole and parts of a set, identifying equal parts, placing fractions on number lines, and comparing simple fractions like 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4. Each session begins with a quick warm-up or math game to get students thinking. Then, I'll guide learners through an interactive mini-lesson using colorful visuals and real-world examples (like pizza and money!). Students will participate in guided practice, discussions, and hands-on activities using printables and common household items. My teaching style is energetic, encouraging, and student-centered. I believe that math should feel meaningful and doable, so I create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and celebrating growth. Learners will interact with me regularly through discussion, direct instruction, collaborative problem-solving, and optional extension challenges. I provide immediate feedback, support, and encouragement to help every child feel successful. We'll use slides, virtual manipulatives, and printable resources to keep each lesson engaging and accessible.

Fractions on a Number Line
My lesson is about helping students understand how fractions fit on a number line and relate to whole numbers. We will learn to identify and place fractions on a number line, understand the space between 0 and 1, explore virtual manipulatives, and have an exit challenge. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Comparing Fractions
This lesson will teach students how to compare simple fractions using visuals, reasoning, and real-world examples. we will compare fractions, play guided math games and have discussions, we will complete a real-life application problem and an exit ticket. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Fraction Fun in Real Life
This lesson will show students how fractions are used in everyday life and reinforcing what they've learned in a fun, review-focused session. we will problem-solve with food, time, and measurement. We will play a review game and wrap-up with a reflection. There will be a certificate of completion. 45 mins online live lesson
