Description

Class Experience

In this 11-week class, learners will have fun as we learn about fractions! This class will cover the basics of fractions including: vocabulary (numerator, denominator, halves, thirds, fourths, equal, etc.), parts of a whole, partitioning shapes, fractions on a number line, comparing fractions, mixed numbers, and improper fractions. This class will give your learner a great foundation to working with fractions in their future math! Your learner will receive direct instruction as well as...

Files/supply lists will be sent at least 24 hours prior to the start of class.

Learners may need basic school supplies such as: pencils, scissors, glue, and colored pencils/crayons.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Students may need to use scissors during one or more of these classes. Parental guidance is suggested when students are using scissors.
