In this ten week course, your scholar will move from identifying fractions all the way through working with fractions that have unlike denominators as well as understanding decimal fractions.

In this 10 week course, your child will work with fractions. We will begin with identifying fractions, numerator and denominator as well as equivalent fractions. Scholars will learn to place fractions on a number line and how to use benchmark fractions to compare and order fractions with like and unlike denominators. Your child will learn how to change a mixed number to an improper fraction as well as how to turn an improper fraction into a mixed number. We will also add and subtract...
Students will be able to identify, compare and order fractions. Students will be able to place fractions on a number line and use a number lie to compare fractions with like and unlike denominators. Students will learn to find equivalent fractions as well as how to simplify fractions. Students will change improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers to improper fractions. Students will add and subtract fractions as well. From here, students will multiply and divide fractions and simplify their answers.
