Class Experience
Students will learn fraction foundations using note taking, discussion, games, and body movement activities. Students will need some type of tangible on hand for Friday's for an interactive lesson. This class will meet twice a week for 4 weeks. Each week will build upon each other and each weekly session will build on the previous session. Your student also needs paper and a writing utensil. In my classes I like to use a variety of way to learn- body movements, tangibles, and note taking....
I have been in the classroom setting for four years teaching grade 2nd-5th teaching all subjects consisting of: math, reading, history, science, spelling, and grammar. I also have masters course work in elementary education.
Your student will need a highlighter, paper, and something to write with.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
