Description
Class Experience
In this class, learners will have fun as we learn about fractions! This class will cover the basics of fractions including: vocabulary (numerator, denominator, halves, thirds, fourths, equal, etc.), parts of a whole, partitioning shapes, fractions on a number line, and comparing fractions. Your learner will receive direct instruction as well as complete hands-on activities each day to practice the skills I have taught. Optional: Learners will be able to take the activities that we complete in class and redo them for extra practice!
Files/supply lists will be sent at least 24 hours prior to the start of class. Learners may need basic school supplies such as: pencils, scissors, glue, and colored pencils/crayons.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students may need to use scissors during one or more of these classes. Parental guidance is suggested when students are using scissors.
