Class Experience

In this one time class, students will learn how to divide fractions and mixed numbers. Students will be encouraged to participate as we learn the steps to take when dividing fractions, work together to represent this concept with a model, and practice simplifying our answers. Students should have some prior knowledge about what fractions are, the parts of a fraction, and how to multiply/divide basic facts (or have a multiplication tool/chart).
