We will learn to draw a cute fox with watercolors and some cute hand lettering. We will draw in real time and learn the steps for drawing letters and characters. Drawing skills that we will practice include: pencil sketching, sighting/measuring, ink outlining, lettering and applying color with watercolors. During drawing time we will also encourage discussion among peers. (I only mute learners if there is loud background noise that makes it hard to hear other learners.) This is a fun art...
Students will improve drawing skills such as proportion, sketching, learning some typographic terminology, finalizing shapes, and adding color with watercolors. Students will also practice conversation skills and enjoy a relaxing activity with peers.
Students may need to finish their project outside of class.
Pencils, eraser, white paper, watercolors OR crayons/colored pencils, and a black pen (preferably gel-pen or fine-tip black marker).
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
