Class Experience
Students will improve their reading comprehension at the 4th grade level. With readings rich in vocabulary and a variety of comprehension questions, the student will increase his/her reading and comprehension skills. In addition, students will increase their writing skills as well (complete sentences, correct capitalization, punctuation, grammar). Students will be able to see the answers on the white board in order to write them down.
Paper and pencil! The students will be writing the questions down. In addition, with support, they will write the answers to the questions from the white board on their papers as well. The answers will be in complete sentences. That will be great practice for them!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
5 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
