Description
Class Experience
Students will become comfortable solving addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, measurement, geometry, fractions, place value and decimals.
I have experience teaching fourth grade. I have been an online teacher for over three years. I have taught over 5,000 online classes.
I will not be requiring homework. I occasionally create homework after class if I feel students may benefit from more independent practice. I always provide the answers for the students, so they can check.
Students should have paper or a whiteboard. I occasionally ask students to annotate on Zoom. Please review with your child how they can annotate on Zoom. Protractors will be needed when we do angles. I will give students a warning in class. I will also post a paper protractor they can print out online. Students may use Google Docs. I will provide links to the documents.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I ask students to submit their answers in the chat or hold them up for me. I adjust my instruction based on student's needs.
50 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
