In this class, we will cover module six from the Eureka Math or Engage NY curriculum. We will begin each class with a few minutes of fluency practice. Each student will complete this individually within the allotted time. We will them move immediately into an application problem. I will send the students into breakout rooms for the allotted time to complete this problem as a group. We will regather as a class and discuss the problem. From there we will move into more of a presentation format....
Understand decimal notation for fractions, and compare decimal fractions. Solve problems involving measurement and conversion of measurements from a larger unit to a smaller unit.
Zearn accounts will be provided for students. There is one lesson to do online after our in class session.

There will be two assessments given during this course to show how much of the content has been mastered.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
