US Grade 1
In this course, you can expect that your child will be reviewing the basic math skills that are meant to be mastered by the end of first grade. Weeks 1-3 of this course will cover counting from adding to the sum of ten and adding up to 20. We will also cover subtraction using games and various memorization strategies to help them learn and stay engaged. Weeks 4-7 will cover shapes and basic measurement, as well as a brief overview introduction to money and telling time. The final week will...

Homework Offered
No concrete homework will be assigned! My only request is that parents/guardians spend 15 minutes every few nights reviewing the skills from class. (At the end of every class, I will post an announcement on the classroom page, explaining what was covered that day, and what activities went along with it, so that you will have an idea of what can be reviewed with your child.)0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
