Description

Class Experience

This is a foundational acting class where we will work on growing the actors most important tool, their imagination! We will focus on creating locations, act as different characters with different wants/goals, and improvise our own scenes. 

Class will start with a group warmup where students will move around at home while re-imagining the space around them. Then each student will have the chance to act out various acting scenarios either on their own or in pairs.  After that students will...

The goals of this class are to encourage students to use their imagination, create strong acting choices quickly, and to listen and work with others to create something uniquely their own. Along with becoming stronger actors, this class can help students to build confidence and take ownership of their own voice, while still collaborating and uplifting others' voices.

45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
