1. Overview of supply, demand, quantities desired and produced, and equilibrium price 2. Discuss various goods, their classification, and their elasticity 3. Anticipate the effects of price changes, shifts in demand, and government policies Students will only need a basic understanding of economics to start. We will explore the fundamental concepts in detail, using examples and discussion. I may send an outline and sample homework sheet for reference before the class. Students should bring questions related to the homework sheet into the class discussion. Note: This class is a portion of my Introduction to Economic Thinking semester course. If you are looking for a more comprehensive course, you may want to enroll in the semester course instead.
