Class Experience

PS: If your schedule changes and you want to transfer your learner to a different time for the class, I will be happy to do the transfer to a time that works better for your family.

This beginner art class is for young anime lovers that want to learn the foundational components of drawing anime persons in the most fun and encouraging way. We will focus on the tiniest of details as the students follow the step-by-step instructions from the teacher's drawing. We will focus on all the details like; male eyes, female eyes, hairstyles, faces from different views (front and side view), poses, outfits, full body, portraits, and more.

My teaching style is fun, engaging, and encouraging. I help my students feel relaxed and comfortable in class, I also help them feel confident about their drawings. I help them to understand that there is really no such thing as a mistake in art, it is all part of the learning and the process that makes up a beautiful artwork.

It is an interactive class where students can share their thoughts with fellow anime enthusiasts. I usually check in with all my students individually to ensure everyone is getting the drawing. Students are allowed to ask questions at any time and make comments on their progress and drawings in class. Students can also show their drawings at any time for feedback and praise.
At the end of each class, students will vote for the part of the body they prefer to draw in the next class.

I also encourage my students to be creative with their drawings, they can tweak their drawing to make it unique.

No previous experience or knowledge is required for this class, it is beginner friendly, and experienced and intermediate artists are also welcome.

Below are the drawings we will be doing in the coming weeks:
