Class Experience

Learner's will learn the key elements to creating characters with proper motivations, beliefs, and understanding of their feelings. They'll also learn how conflict can be used to develop characters to help them achieve their goals within their story.
My time as a head writer in Hollywood has provided me a unique system for writing that was developed for the specific purpose in helping writers complete their work. I have different techniques and tricks for different types of writers, a wide range of knowledge in all the different genres and styles of writing, and even developed an objective way to review and provide structured criticism to writers that don't impede on their creative freedom.
Week one learners will be asked to create three characters to throw into conflicts.
Learners should be able to describe characters on an external level (what their personality is like) as well as their level internal level (what struggles their dealing with emotionally. As well as describe the different conflicts the characters are dealing with and why.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
