In this one-time class, students will share their favorite fossils. We will use inquiry skills to investigate the possible origins of the fossil, age, and organism classification.
Class experience
Kids LOVE sharing their discoveries and new things with others! In this class, students are asked to bring a purchased or discovered fossil so we can investigate and chat. Students can bring any fossil, including but not limited to dinosaur, shark, bug, and plant fossils. I take more of a moderator role in my show and tell classes. Listeners are encouraged to ask questions to the show and tell presenter. This can sometimes difficult so I always post helpful prompts at the beginning of class...
