Students will learn about the fossils found in the Kem Kem fossil beds of Algeria and Morocco The topics covered will be: 1) Where the beds are located 2)What the Kem Kem locations were like 95 million years ago 3) The fish fossils 4)The crocodile fossils 5)The Pterosaur fossils 6)The Dinosaur fossils My class will be structured along introducing students to the fossil site and its history and start from the smaller and less popular forms of wildlife before working up to famous dinosaurs like Spinosaurs I will teach using a mixture of images which I have obtained permission to use, documentary clips to show students and interacting with students. My teaching style can be described as interactive Learners will interact with me through lectures, video clips and discussion There is no required knowledge of the prehistoric animals in question as this is more to show students what they can find if they plan to go digging in this location.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the ancient creatures fossilized in the Kem Kem beds, from gigantic human sized lungfish and salmon, to the famous sail backed dinosaur Spinosaurus.

Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Alvernia University
I studied paleontology at the University of Alberta. I have been on several fossil digs myself and i worked in the education department of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.
