Class Experience

Students will learn:
- strategic skills
-how to work with others
- Perseverance
- How to play Fortnite
-Problem solving skills
I have played video games ever since I was a child and always found the value in them. I believe games can teach students how to think critically and problem solve. I have played Fortnite for about three years and I am no expert but I strive to get better each day. I am also an elementary school teacher and I work with students on a daily basis.
Students will need a console (PS4/PS5, Xbox, Switch, or PC) to play Fortnite on. This device needs to be separate from the device he/she is zooming on.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be playing Fortnite on seperate device. Students will only interact with myself and other learners in a private party.
