In this one time class Fortnite game playing skills will be taught through a power point presentation. Discussion about the game and the characters will be the focus after the skills have been learned. Skills that will be taught in this class include: Game Controls Muscle Memory Building and Editing Team work Strategy Quest Planning Social Skills Public Speaking Learners will also have the opportunity to ask questions, and help each other to learn. I am in no way affiliated with Fortnite, or it's products. I do not consider myself an expert in Fortnite, but I like to offer this platform for children who love the game, want to learn about it, and want to make friends.
Learning Goals
Soft spoken students will learn to use their voice. Out spoken students will learn to take turns. Everyone will get to practice actively listening to others. Also, the students may gain computer skills, team work, social skills, and game play.

Parental Guidance
The Fortnite video game does contain violence. It is up to the discretion of the family as to if Fortnite is appropriate for each child.
Supply List
The learner should have the Fortnite game. Fortnite books are also helpful but not required.

Hello and Good Day! My name is Teacher Leiloni and I am a life long learner. This means that I love to learn new things. I have my bachelors in Education which helps me to teach my own children as well as others. I have a certificate in children's yoga. I have taught in person private classes and have been certified under the Leadership Education Mentoring Institute in Shakespeare Conquest, Key of Liberty and the Georgics class. I have also attended training to teach a Mission Hero class which teaches the scholars about heroes while learning about the Civil War through current events. My children have shown chickens through 4-H for a few years so I ended up being the poultry leader. I began my online teaching career teaching ESL to children in China as well!
I believe that children learn best when they are led by their own interests, or at least a teacher or mentor that can inspire them to gain new knowledge and passions.
