Fortnite en Español With Profe Laura (Weekly Immersive Spanish)

Join Profe Laura for fun Spanish practice playing Fortnite! In this ongoing class we will play as a duo, trio, or squad to work as a team to win Fortnite! Student will learn vocabulary related to the game and how to try to strategize in Spanish as a team. 

Heritage speakers welcome. Intermediate to Advanced Spanish is required in order to fully enjoy and interact this course. Students are expected to try to express themselves in Spanish as much as possible. Students MUST having a working knowledge of the game or be willing to figure it out on their own as this course is focused on communication skills in Spanish and not how to play Fortnite in of itself.

PLEASE DO NOT ENROLL IF YOUR LEARNER IS UNABLE TO SUSTAIN A CONVERSATION IN SPANISH.

My no-show policy: if no learners are in the classroom after 10 minutes, the Zoom session will be ended (this is Outschool's general policy for no-shows).

🎧 Your personal checklist:
* have Fortnite installed on the video game device or PC the learner is going to use
*  have their account with username so we can start playing immediately (no refunds provided in case of not having the game downloaded or having to spend time in class updating
* check the game several hours before class to make sure you don't need to update (some updates can take 2-3 hours if you have a slow internet)

👀 Important policies:

🎮 I do understand that some learners make friends in class and want to become Nintendo friends or share gamer tags for video games they can play together. Upon signing up, PLEASE keep in mind and follow Outschool's policy for gamer tags:
 * Learners or parents should message gamer tags directly through a private message (so please either friend me or message me privately with your tags)
 * Never allow learners to share their gamer tags in the classroom page (this means teacher or parents should delete comments from learners that do). Thank you!

🤬 Strong language policy. While I know each family has its own standard as far as language, please remember that this is a PG-language platform and that learners should not curse during class time. If that happens, I normally give them a verbal reminder the first time. The second time, I will send a written reminder to the parent/guardian about the incident.

💥 No-bullying policy. Harassment or perceived harassment is not allowed in these classes. This includes any kind of bias or offensive remarks regarding intelligence, social status, race, gender, etcetera.
