Class experience
This class is an overview of crime scenes (Forensic Science). Processing a crime scene is hard work and takes a very long time! It involves tasks such as documentation of the scene and the collection of any physical evidence that could possibly give clues as to what happened and point us to who did it! The topics of this lesson include: -The proper steps of a crime scene investigation -The responsibilities of the first responder and other officials -Five different types of search patterns...
Students will learn -What is the role of Crime Scene Investigator -The proper steps a CSI must take during an investigation -The responsibilities of officials at a crime scene -The different types of search patterns and when they should be used
I am a Licensed Educator. Alongside my credentials to teach, I also hold a Masters of Science in Criminal and Social Justice. I currently teach two online Criminal Justice Courses (college). I have been teaching Criminal Justice classes online for a little over four years. I have a strong passion for Forensic Science as well as Education.
A one-page handout will be provided prior to the start of each session Pen/Pencil Homework Handout Notebook for Notetaking
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
**The topic of dead bodies is covered at the end of the class-and makes up only the last page of the homework assignment. A substitute topic and homework assignment will be posted as an alternative for those who are uncomfortable discussing this portion of Forensic Science.
