Class Experience

This one session class is part of our Self Sufficiency Series.

In this class we will go over foraging basics. What kind of guides should you use, what laws should you be aware of? Let's find out how to find out!

We will identify some basic plants in your area during class and find uses for them. Dandelions are a great example of a kind of plant that live in many places in North America. This class will cover basic plant identification and uses. We will discuss ways to use this plant and some recipes you can try with them. Bring your own recipes and ideas for how you already use the plants in your area.

It is highly recommended that any work you do identifying plants outside of class, you do with a grownup.

Foraging is obviously location specific so this class will definitely be a more general overview and a compass to more information that is local to you.
