Class Experience

This one week FLEX class (no live meeting) is part of our Self Sufficiency Series.

In this class I will present foraging basics and best practices in a video. What kind of guides should you use, what laws should you be aware of? Let's find out how to find out! There will be a great handout to take with you on your next foraging adventure.

We will identify some basic plants common to North America and consider some ways to use them for food. Dandelions are a great example of a kind of plant that live in many places in North America.

It is highly recommended that any work you do identifying plants outside of class, you do with a grownup.

Foraging is obviously location specific so this class will definitely be a more general overview and a compass to more information that is local to you.
