Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about the Twilight world. We will discuss characters, settings, plots, and of course why we love Twilight. If you have never read the Twilight series, join us to get interested in this novel series. You will enjoy the discussions and banter.
I am an 8th grade US History teacher. I was the sponsor of the Twilight Book Club in 2008 for 6th -8th graders. Our club discussed the book and even had themed food and drink events and movie-watching parties. I have a lot of experience talking with youth about the series and we will have a lot of fun doing so with remaining appropriate and responsible.
I would love if you brushed up on your Twilight literature. You have to be ready for the new book, so start reading!
Optional, but the Twilight Novel Series will be helpful or you can also read the books online. (Or you can watch the movies)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents need to know that, while very mild by the standards of its genre, this is a vampire romance, so there is talk about blood and romantic kissing, as well as one battle with bloody injuries. - CommonSenseMedia.com
