Students will dive into the study of Pele
We will go over his life as a child to obtain an understanding of what lead him to play. His life as a young adult and the struggles he had to face in the quest to play his dream sport. We will also cover his life as a soccer player, his accomplishments and failures. We will go over famous games, plays and highlights. In this class we will also analyze what Pele has done now that he is in retirement, what his contributions to society are and how soccer is still part of his life. Students will leave class well informed and with a better understanding of what it takes to make a legend like Pele.
