In this weekly class, we will meet once a week to discuss sports while making new friends! While socializing, students will practice critical thinking and social skills to build confidence.

My goal is to create a meaningful, comfortable, social learning environment where students discuss interesting topics and connect with each other. This class is discussion-based to help students build speaking and listening skills. The 2024 NFL season is here! Each week, we will look at the slate of football games and predict what will happen. Students will compare and contrast players and teams, analyze statistics, and discuss the NFL. Students will build communication skills while having fun and making friends. Students will have plenty of opportunities to share their input and listen to others. Class topics will be largely learner-led. It is strongly recommended that students have an intermediate or advanced knowledge of football and the current NFL.
