Class Experience
Calling all football fans! This class is the perfect blend of learning, friendly competition, and fun for every student. Our Jeopardy-based trivia game covers all football topics from its history, teams, players, and much more for both College and NFL football! Students will have access to a study guide posted in the classroom prior to the class, that way we can cover multiple topics and truly become Football Masters! At the completion of this course, learners will gain expert knowledge in many football topics, in addition to fun and friendly competition skills.
Like many people across the world, I am an ardent football fan and have been as long as I can remember. In addition to playing over a decade, refereeing in leagues, and coaching numerous teams, I am also a student of history and am enamored with the story of the sport. I have a passion for teaching and a passion for football, which combines to make this a unique class for avid fans, those interested in playing the game, and those just wanting to learn about a new sport!
Each student will have access to the study guide prior to class in order to review and gain knowledge needed for the trivia game. Reviewing the study guide is not required to participate in the class, but it is highly recommended to study prior to class if you want to win!
A study guide will be posted on the course Outschool classroom prior to the class meeting.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will be informally assessed throughout the course of the game.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
A class study guide will be posted prior to the class meeting in order to review before the game. It is highly recommended that learners study this guide before class in order to achieve higher success in the game.
