Not just for the aspiring chef, Foods of the World is a class designed for all students who would like to learn about world cuisine. As diners, it's best to have an understanding of, and an appreciation for, what's before us on the menu, especially, as examples, when out to eat with business partners, clients, co-workers or even friends. In this class, we'll explore foods from Asia to the Americas and several points between. Primarily lecture based, this class features pictures and short, yet relevant, background information on several of the world's most revered dishes. Informative yet fun, Foods of the World is for anyone who has even a slight appreciation for food, or at least a solid appetite. And, who knows? Maybe this class just might inspire the world's next great Michelin-rated chef!

Welcome and thank you for visiting my profile! With over 5 years online teaching experience, I have been described by parents as an encouraging, creative teacher with strengths including conversational practice, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. Subject areas I look forward to teaching your child include Microsoft Office Suite, grammar, creative writing, cursive writing and an introduction to the SQL programming language, to name a few. I believe a classroom setting should have a healthy mix largely of seriousness, yet with a pinch of fun mixed in at times.
