While reading, we will discuss parts of a book, basic story elements, and story sequencing. To culminate the class, we will make pig pancakes together! We will spend the last few minutes of class eating our pancakes and talking with each other. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, thank you so much for showing interest in my classes! My name is Heather Horn and I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have been a public school teacher for 14 years in addition to being a substitute teacher for 4 years prior to that. I am passionate about preparing littles for the beginning of their school career! Kindergarten readiness is so important to start them off on the right foot and become successful learners. Teaching kids to read is another passion of mine and such an important milestone in kindergarten, so I've had lots of experience with that. I always want to make learning fun and engaging so they come back for more! Students learn best when having fun, so that's always my goal. We love to smile, laugh, have a good time, and learn some things along the way! I hope to see you in my classroom soon!
