In this one-time course, students will listen to the story "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" by Laura Numeroff and make their own pancakes!

Description
Class Experience
-Students will learn parts of a book. -Students will learn and discuss basic story elements (characters, setting, etc.) -Students will answer questions about the story. -Students will converse socially with other same age peers.
-Frozen pancakes -Blueberries -Straw -Plastic knife -Syrup -Fork
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Parent/guardian participation may be needed for pancake making. Students will be using a microwave to make pancakes. They will also use a plastic knife to cut the pancake and make "pig ears," so they may need assistance for that. When purchasing pancakes, please check the package for any concerns of possible food allergens since we will be using frozen, store bought pancakes.
