Students will learn how to create several unique, simple animals with fondant. These charming animals will bring your sweet treats to life. These can be used to decorate cakes and cupcakes with a professional look. We will learn how to make a caterpillar and a bird, as well as other animals. I will guide students hands-on throughout the process. I will demonstrate, stopping along the way, for the students to follow and ask questions. Students may bring colored fondant to class or color it in class as needed. They will learn to shape fondant into animals with their hands and toothpicks. Students may use food safe markers to enhance the animals they create. They will share their favorites with the class.
