I am a certified music teacher. I have been teaching music and recorder instrument in the public school setting for 20 years.
The students will have no homework for this class. The students will be encouraged to practice their new recorder skills at home.
Students will need: One soprano recorder instrument (Baroque) One or two 1" squares of paper Paper/pencil to take notes (if needed)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
At the end of class, the students will play G, A, B, D, E.
The students can choose to play from their fingering map.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
The sound of the recorder can bother people who have sensitive hearing. You play the recorder in advance to see if the sound is uncomfortable.
Recorder instruments are not provided by the Outschool teacher.
