Elves, brownies, and other "little peoples" are common to folktales around the world. In Hawaii, they are known as Menehune. The Menehune love helping people out with tasks, but they must finish their work before sunrise. Can the Menehune help Kekupua build a canoe for the chief's wife before they see the sun? In this one-time live multimedia storytelling session, we'll find out, along with my friend, Sam the Cat. Sam is a shy but curious cat who magically morphs between puppet and digital forms. Fair warning: Sam has a habit of popping up in the stories! This storytelling session is part of a series featuring folktales from around the world.
