This class meets once for 55 minutes. Students learn how to solve word problems for mark up and markdown of total cost or price using the proportion method.
In this class, students will learn the difference between a binomial and trinomial, how to use the FOIL Method to find the product of two binomials, and how to use the distributive property to multiply a binomial by a trinomial. The class structure is an open discussion which means that students will be able to talk about the solutions with the instructor as well as other students.
