Homework
Homework will be assigned as needed but is mostly for enrichment.Assessment
The very first class is an assessment where we get to know each other and I test the skills of the student. I then use this information to custom make lessons for your student and their needs. When your student becomes a regular in tutoring - where I meet with them 1 or more times each week, I will perform formative assessments as needed to test for growth and see what needs to be changed to their lessons.Class Experience
Hello, and thanks for stopping by! This is a personalized, 1:1 coaching and tutoring class designed specifically for students with ADHD. Each session is crafted based on the unique needs of your child, incorporating information you share and insights from an initial assessment. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝘼𝘿𝙃𝘿 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜? As someone with ADHD myself, I understand the unique challenges it brings to learning. ADHD often affects focus, organization, and confidence, making traditional approaches less effective. My goal is to provide tailored strategies that align with how your child learns best—helping them unlock their potential and rediscover the joy of learning. 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨: Executive Functioning Skills: Time management, task organization, and focus techniques. Confidence Building: Shifting the mindset from “I can’t” to “I can!” Custom Tools for Success: Practical, engaging methods that fit your child’s needs, including movement breaks, multisensory learning, and gamified activities. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣: Session 1: Getting to know your student’s learning style, strengths, and challenges. A brief introductory lesson tailored to their current needs. Ongoing Sessions: Customized lessons that build on prior sessions. ADHD-specific strategies to improve academic skills and focus. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨? Many ADHD students feel overwhelmed and discouraged in traditional learning environments. My approach is to meet them where they are, build their confidence, and equip them with tools that work for their brains. Learning should always be engaging and empowering! 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧: Book your second session at the same time as your first to receive 25% off the second session. (Message me for the coupon code! This offer is only for first-time ADHD coaching students.) Let’s work together to transform your child’s learning experience into one that builds skills, confidence, and joy! Learning can be fun again. Note: Discounts cannot be applied retroactively and require messaging to receive the coupon. 𝙈𝙮 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨: 10:00am - 5:00pm CST Due to the nature of the demand of this class, if you ask me to reserve a certain time for you, I will only hold that spot for 1 week.
