Class Experience

Join us for an empowering session where participants will benefit from the proven productivity strategy: ADHD Body Doubling. Body doubling enhances focus and accountability. Led by experienced neurodivergent facilitators, this session offers a supportive environment where participants can harness the benefits of gentle accountability and task-focused presence.

ADHD Body Doubling acts as a passive yet effective form of accountability, serving as a gentle reminder to stay on track during lengthy, repetitive tasks. By simply being present alongside others engaged in similar activities, participants naturally feel motivated to remain focused and resist distractions.

These sessions are opportunities for a child to gain momentum on the term paper they have been avoiding or put away the basket of clean laundry that has been sitting in the corner of their room for a week.

Throughout the session, participants will engage in focused work intervals, supported by 10-minute timer breaks to maintain energy and concentration levels. Unlike traditional forms of accountability that involve active nudging, ADHD Body Doubling operates on a subtler level, allowing individuals to stay grounded in their tasks without external pressure.

It's important to note that the body double doesn't directly assist with the task but rather provides a supportive backdrop for individual productivity. Body doubling works in the same way many work-from-home employees find a productivity boost by working at Starbucks or their local library.

This class is entirely learner-led and gently steered by a neurodivergent educator.
