Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
🚁✈️🪰🪁 Choppers, Drones, Hot Air Balloons, Oh My! 🚁✈️🪰🪁

This exciting class ventures over to the area of aviation that people often leave out...the flying machines WITHOUT wings. Airplanes always have wings, but these aircraft NEVER have wings and can accomplish some pretty cool stuff! So, buckle up because we are going on an aviation adventure to learn more about all of the flying machines out there. Since I know that aviation enthusiasts often can't contain their enthusiasm for flight, there will be ample opportunities for student input and students will also be asked to share about unique aircraft that they may have a personal interest in discussing. The topics will be as follows:

Week of <August 8>: Hot Air Balloons
Week of <August 15>: Blimps
Week of <August 22>: Helicopters
Week of <August 29>: Drones
Week of <September 5>: Free Share

Each week we will talk about the topic listed above. The topics DO NOT build upon each other. During the 5th session we will have a free share where students can pick any flying machine without wings to discuss.

Can't wait to see you there!
