US Grade 3
If your learner has just completed second grade and needs a refresh before the start of second grade, this might be the class they need. We will review various second grade concepts so they feel confident in math at the start of the school year. We will review through instruction, practice and games and hopefully have some fun along the way. Following is our daily schedule. Monday- review of carrying to thousands place, multiplication math facts for 0, 1, 2, 5, and 10, rounding to tens Tuesday- review of Monday’s concepts, borrowing to hundreds, even and odd numbers, writing numbers to 1,000 Wednesday- review of previous days' concepts, word problems, multiplication facts for 3 and 4, Roman numerals I, V, and X Thursday- previous days' review, graphing, multiplication of 9 and 11, telling time to five minutes Friday- review of difficult concepts from previous days, fractions, introduction of concept of division
