During "Fly Guy Story Time - Books #1 - 3", students will enjoy enthusiastic read alouds from the first three books in the Fly Guy series. Students will learn a variety of speaking & listening skills through a combination of teacher-led reading and peer discussions. Through the use of live video meetings and lively conversations, students will soar into the hilarious world of Fly Guy. Students will be provided with the opportunity to interact with the teacher and students via engaging questioning throughout the duration of the class. Class time will be structured in the following way: 1) greetings & introductions 2) pre-reading questions 3) teacher read aloud, with comprehension questions embedded 4) post-reading reflection. The book schedule is as follows: Week 1 - Hi, Fly Guy! (Fly Guy #1) Week 2 - Super Fly Guy! (Fly Guy #2) Week 3 - Shoo, Fly Guy! (Fly Guy #3) Throughout the course of this 3-week class, students will enjoy beginner-level chapter books, while also learning how to organize and speak about their thoughts.

-Participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners about texts with peers and adults in small and larger groups.

The Fly Guy series of books features silly and gross situations, presented in a funny, highly illustrated format.
Supply List
Please note that students do not need to have copies of these books in order to attend classes; teacher will share digital copies of the books aloud. If students already have copies of the books, and wish to bring them to class, they may, but it is not required.
