In each 25 minute class, students will listen to a story from the Fly Guy series by Tedd Arnold. Students will answer comprehension questions throughout the story and participate in a discussion. We will have a fun scavenger hunt at the end of class. Students will practice their listening and reading comprehension skills during the discussion. Each student will have a chance to participate in the discussion and answer questions. I am a fun-loving and energetic teacher with a passion for making learning exciting. I look forward to meeting your children in class and sharing my love of reading with them. Here is a list of the books we will read: Day 1: Fly Guy #1: Hi! Fly Guy Day 2: Fly Guy #2: Super Fly Guy! Day 3: Fly Guy #3: Shoo, Fly Guy! Day 4: Fly Guy #4: There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Fly Guy Day 5: Fly Guy #5: Fly High, Fly Guy! These readings are presented with permission from Scholastic.

I have taught gymnastics, music, ESL, Spanish, and elementary/middle/high school grades). I have homeschooled my children for the past 15 years and have also been an online teacher for the past five years. I am a loving and patient educator who believes learning should be FUN!
