- Listening skills and ability to connect with stories - Language rhythms - About Mali and its culture
I grew up in Africa and love all the cultures in the continent! I have traveled to various African countries and love sharing about the unique cultures in each of the 54 African countries! I love reading books from around the world (Africa and Beyond) and helping kids discover more about other cultures. I have read aloud storybooks to kids (including my four year old son) and learned how to adapt my reading style to draw children into the story and help them learn something new.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
