Class Experience

Hello! My name is Lynlie Simpson and I am a flute player and teacher. I want to offer a class that teaches the basics of vibrato because it is a difficult skill to master alone. Vibrato on flute is similar to using vibrato when we sing. To create vibrato, we make small changes in pitch to make waves in the sound. As flutists, we use our air to make these waves. 

Using a PowerPoint Presentation, we will go through step by step of how to create vibrato. I have included words, pictures, and...

Students will learn the steps to produce vibrato on the flute. Students will be given a step-by-step guide for how to practice this new skill.
