🎵 WHAT ARE LESSONS? 🎵 In this class, I give private, individualized, instrument instruction on the flute in a relaxed, comfortable environment. Typically lessons include warm-ups to improve tone quality and music from an appropriate method book. While this is a typical course of study, lessons can be highly customized for your child. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Florida State University. I have been teaching in schools, co-ops, and privately for 20 years. I have experience teaching students from beginner level all the way to admission to music schools and would love to work with you!
Homework Offered
Students are expected to practice routinely. We will discuss an appropriate length of practice at a students first lesson.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students are assessed informally throughout the lesson. All lessons are customized to students based on their progress.Grades Offered
Students need an instrument and appropriate instrument accessories. We will determine sheet music needed at the first lesson.
