++ Please message me for specific days and times that work for you++ Each lesson will be specifically designed for the student. This is based on their age, their experience both with the flute and other instruments if any, based on interests and needs. I plan each lesson for each student and include the following (although some may vary depending on level and experience): - clear sound using the headpiece and the entire flute -how to hold and place fingers - breath control and tonguing - learning the first scale - songs from beginner to advanced depending on level of the student - rhythm - reading music and theory As a music instructor for over 25 years, I know that the flute can often be frustrating at first and I have taught both privately with flute students for years as well as worked in classrooms assisting band students. I love teaching and the flute can be a beautiful instrument and also a lot of fun! I am here to help the student, whether it's a beginner who has never picked up the instrument, a student starting band wanting some lessons on the side, or an intermediate student with a few years of playing but wanting to continue. Message me with any questions! Teacher Jennie
